Cĥāng (ช้าง) (Elephant): My embroidered tribute to Thailand (Part 2) - a country I have visited many times. It and others will hang near my Buddha from the Golden Temple, Khrungthep. Khup Kuhn Mak Ka (thank you very much!) Stitches used: couching, chain, and satin stitches. Thread used DMC Golden Metallic, plain and variegated thread sewn, glass beads and sequins on unbleached raw calico.
