The Singha ( สิงห์ ) a mythical Thai Golden Lion. Part 1 of my embroidered tribute to Thailand - a country I have visited many times. It and others will hang near my Buddha from the Golden Temple, Khrungthep. Khup Kuhn Mak Ka (thank you very much!) Stitches used: couching,chain, and satin stitches. Thread used DMC Golden Metallic, plain and variegated thread sewn on unbleached raw calico.
